01 / Our Curriculum

GSEB foundation, English-medium excellence.

Fellowship International School follows the curriculum prescribed by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), delivered through an English medium of instruction. GSEB is one of India's oldest and largest education boards, responsible for setting the syllabus, prescribing NCERT/GCERT-aligned textbooks, and conducting the Class X (SSC) and Class XII (HSC) board examinations.

Our academic framework combines this strong, board-mandated foundation with a holistic, value-based approach rooted in our culture — ensuring every student receives rigorous academics alongside the character and confidence to thrive beyond the classroom.

Pre-Primary

Nursery, LKG, UKG

Our Early Years programme nurtures a child's natural curiosity through play-based, activity-driven learning. The focus is on language readiness, foundational numeracy, motor-skill development, and social-emotional growth in a safe, joyful environment — laying the groundwork for confident school readiness.

Primary

Classes I–V

The primary years build core competencies in English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Gujarati, and Hindi. Teaching is concept-based and experiential, moving children gently from foundational literacy and numeracy toward independent learning, while encouraging creativity, good values, and a love of reading.

Upper Primary

Classes VI–VIII

Students deepen their knowledge across English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit and Computer Studies. This stage emphasises analytical thinking, structured writing, and practical application, preparing students for the academic rigour of the secondary years.

Secondary

Classes IX–X

The secondary stage prepares students for the GSEB SSC (Class X) Board Examination. The curriculum covers English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and a second/third language, with structured assessment, regular practice and dedicated examination support to help every student succeed.

Higher Secondary Classes XI–XII

At the higher secondary level, students choose between two streams leading to the GSEB HSC (Class XII) Board Examination:

Science Stream

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, Computer Science with English.

Ideal for students aspiring towards engineering, medicine, pharmacy and pure sciences. Students are also guided for competitive entrance examinations such as GUJCET, JEE, and NEET.

Commerce Stream

Accountancy, Organisation of Commerce & Management, Economics, Statistics, Gujarati and English.

Designed for students pursuing careers in business, finance, accountancy, management and economics.

03 / Assessment & Evaluation

Continuous and comprehensive evaluation.

In line with GSEB guidelines, FIS follows a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) approach. Students are assessed through a balanced mix of periodic unit tests, term examinations, projects and practical work, ensuring that learning is measured consistently across both scholastic and co-scholastic areas throughout the academic year.

04 / Beyond the Textbook

Growing the whole child.

Our curriculum extends well beyond academics. Hobby periods, clubs, remedial support, sports, library sessions and value-education programmes are woven into the school week — ensuring each child grows intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually.
