A bridge connecting young minds to a world of opportunity.

Where It Began

The First English medium School in Chikhli Taluka, born from a community's need.

Long before Fellowship International School opened its doors in 2006, families in Chikhli Taluka faced a quiet but pressing challenge: there was no dedicated english medium school in the town where children could receive a quality education close to home. Parents travelled long distances, or made difficult choices about their children's future — not for lack of ambition, but because the need simply had not yet been met.

FIS was founded to answer that call. As the first english medium school established in Chikhli Taluka, it brought English-medium education within reach of every family in the community — from Pre-Primary through Class XII (Science & Commerce). What began as a response to a local need has grown into a lasting institution, still rooted in the same conviction: that every child in Chikhli Taluka deserves access to education that opens doors, without having to leave the place they call home.

Pioneers, not followers

We didn't wait for the trend — we started it.

When FIS opened its doors, English-medium schooling was still uncommon across Chikhli Taluka and the surrounding region. We became the trendsetters — proof that world-class English education could take root here, close to home. The ripple we began in 2006 continues today, as schools across the area followed the path we first paved.

03 / Our Founders

Two hearts that dared to dream for a generation.

The story of Fellowship International School is not merely the story of an institution — it is the story of two hearts that dared to dream for a generation.

Founder

Rev. Saji Mathew

Originally from Kerala, called to serve in Gujarat with faith, sacrifice, and an unwavering vision for education.

Co-Founder

Mrs. Janet Saji Mathew

A loving educator, compassionate mentor, and motherly presence to countless children across the region.

Rev. Saji Mathew and Mrs. Janet Saji Mathew, originally from the beautiful state of Kerala, answered God's call to serve in Gujarat many years ago. As they travelled through villages and towns, they witnessed a pressing reality: countless children, especially those from poor and marginalized communities, were deprived of quality English-medium education. Bright young minds possessed immense potential, yet opportunities remained beyond their reach.

Moved by compassion and guided by their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, they embraced a vision that would transform lives. Believing that education is one of the most powerful tools for empowerment, they established schools with a simple yet profound mission.

Their Mission

English Education For All.

What began as an act of faith soon became a movement of hope. Through unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance, they worked tirelessly to make quality education accessible to every child, regardless of social or economic background. Their dream was not merely to build schools, but to nurture confident, educated, and compassionate individuals who would become leaders in their communities.

In Loving Memory · 2021

At the heart of this mission stood Mrs. Janet Saji Mathew — a loving educator, compassionate mentor, and a motherly presence to countless children. Her life was marked by selfless service, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting the underprivileged. She believed that every child deserved to be loved, valued, and given the opportunity to succeed.

In 2021, Mrs. Janet Saji Mathew was called to her eternal home, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire thousands of students, teachers, and families. Though she is no longer with us physically, her vision, values, and passion remain deeply woven into the foundation of Fellowship International School.

Together, Rev. Saji Mathew and Mrs. Janet Saji Mathew dedicated their lives — and their family — to serving the poor, the marginalized, and those often overlooked by society. Their journey has never been about personal achievement, but about creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and transforming lives through education.

Today, Fellowship International School stands as a living testimony to their faith, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the next generation. Every classroom, every student, and every success story reflects the vision they carried in their hearts — a vision where quality education reaches every child and where lives are transformed through knowledge, character, and faith.

Their legacy continues to guide us as we strive to shape future generations with excellence, compassion, and purpose.
